

During the Design Developmentphase of construction documentation the CAD/Revit Manager will, in some instances, berequired to conduct surveys in order to document existing conditions oflocalized facilities. Also required will bea general understanding of building electrical and mechanical systems, as wellas technology driven requirements such as telecommunications, AV, screeningroom and editing facility requirements, for consultant drawing coordinationpurposes.

TheCAD/Revit Manager will be (under the general directive of a Project Manager) requiredto bring to completion a full set of construction documents in order to securethe necessary pricing, permits and execute construction for projects of varyingsize, scope and location. h) Maintain all necessary applicationlicenses required by the Architectural Services DepartmentĬonstructionDocumentation: The CAD/Revit Manager will be required to demonstrate a strongunderstanding of the AIA construction documentation standards and be able toprepare a thorough set with minimal direction for facility locationsdomestically and internationally. g) Contribute ideas toimprove drawing and file management.

The CAD/Revit Manager will beresponsible for ensuring the upkeep and oversight of all required softwarelicenses. The CAD/Revit Manager will berequired to stay current on all release updates for AutoCAD/Revit and Revit and makesure the Architectural Services Department is keep abreast of said updates, inorder to ensure that all staff members are working with the most currenttools. The CAD/Revit Managerwill be responsible for setting up all drawing files, in the global projectrepository, required to produce and maintain the above mentioned architecturaldrawings. The CAD/Revit Manager will be required to provide3-D presentation materials for certain projects when required.

AutoCAD/Revit/Revit/3-Drendering: The CAD/Revit Manager will berequired to demonstrate an extensive comprehension of AutoCAD/Revit (all versionspast, current and future) and Revit as well as demonstrate a strongunderstanding of other computer aided design applications for such purposes ashaving the ability to translate and manipulate other drawing file formats thatmay come from a third party source, both domestically and internationally.
